Thomas Hell will give his China Debut on April 7, 2019.
The Program of his piano recital in the state concert hall in Tianjin will consist of Haydn´s Andante con Variazioni F Minor, a selection of Etudes pour piano by György Ligeti, Isoldes Liebestod by Liszt-Wagner and Robert Schumann´s Kreisleriana op. 16.

In March 2017 Thomas Hell´s new recording of Charles Ives´ Second Piano Sonata (Concord Sonata) was released by the label Piano Classics (version with flute and viola).

Following several teaching posts at the universities of music in Hanover and Stuttgart, Thomas Hell was appointed professor of piano at the University of Music in Mainz in 2016.
